The Interagency Working Group on Assistive Technology Mobility Devices
In 2003, President Bush announced the formation of the Interagency Working Group on Assistive Technology Mobility Devices. This group is composed of the Secretary of Education, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, the Secretary of Labor, the Commissioner of Social Security and the Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs. The goal of the group is to identify Federal, State, and local government agencies and tribal programs that help people with disabilities obtain the mobility devices they need for education and employment.
