Music can be powerful. Studies have shown music may reduce agitation and improve behavioral issues that are common in the middle and late stages of dementia. Music provides a way to connect, even after verbal communication has become difficult.
Join us for a talk story music session! This joyful time of singing together will spark memories, bring a smile to your face, and invite your fingers and toes to tap along. We are looking for individuals at all stages in their dementia journey and their care partners who find joy from music.
- Be a door to past memories
- Ease anxiety and manage stress
- Encourage muscle movement
- Bring joy to those living w/ dementia
