Since 1982, the Alzheimer's Association, Aloha Chapter has helped thousands of Hawaii’s residents care for their loved ones living with Alzheimer’s disease. Core Services include: Information and referral; specialized caregiver education and training for professional caregivers and first responders; care counseling; facilitated support groups; Medic Alert+SafeReturn® national registry program; public education about the disease including the 10 Warning Signs, Azheimer’s vs. Normal Aging and through the annual Memory Walks that take place throughout the state each Fall. Target group: Alzheimer's patients and their caregivers. Eligibility: no restrictions. Application process: call for information.
