MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2023

Please join AmeriCorps Seniors Kauai RSVP, sponsored by the County Agency on Elderly Affairs in honoring and remembering those who have sacrificed their lives in protecting our Country, State, and County.  Kauai RSVP is partnering with Kauai VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster), to hold a special event on September 11, 2023, at the Kukui Grove Shopping Center’s, Center Stage from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.  

It's been more than two decades since 9/11.  We honor and commemorate the sacrifices made that day by remembering the heroes, armed forces, first responders, and countless others' who defend our nation's freedom. 

On the September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance, Americans of all ages and backgrounds are once again invited to serve our community together in unity.  Differences fade away, conversations spark, and relationships are created when we roll up our sleeves to make a difference for a common cause. 

There will be entertainment and RSVP Volunteer Station tables throughout the mall. We encourage you to join us and to engage in service on this day and the days before and after.
